Lens Ball

Spherical lens is a smaller optical ball lens, it was used to improve signal coupling between optical fibers, transmitters, and detectors, enhance signal quality, and can also be applied to endoscopy, barcode scanning, pre-processing materials for aspherical lenses, sensors, etc.

Ball lenses has a shorter focal length and a larger magnification than ordinary convex lenses, and their focal length depends on the refractive index of the material itself. Due to the short focal length of the ball lens, it can greatly reduce the distance from the ball lens to the optical fiber, so the ball lens is mainly used in optical fiber applications.

Turn Optics can provide materials for spherical lenses such as H-KL, JGS1, Sapphire, Ruby, or required. 

Beside K9, quartz, and sapphire ball lenses, we added a new ruby ball production line dia 0.2-12mm , mainly for grades G3/G5/G10/G25, accepting customized and bulk orders.
